Meet Our Staff

Joe Reed - As a professional photographer for nearly 30 years, Joe has had an opportunity to take memorable images of just about everything, including the Super Bowl. As the team photographer for the Lakers, Kings, and Raiders, he had the best seat in the house for many memorable games. That however, is in the past, and now he focuses on corporate and advertising photography, making sure that each client walks away with the perfect image. Studio or location, Joe is comfortable shooting in just about any venue...even hanging out of a helicopter. As a Brooks Graduate with a BFA in illustrative photography, Joe is ready to take on any photographic assignment. His clients will tell you that he is a "people" person, and that he enjoys a good challenge and is great at solving problems on the fly. In fact, that is one of the reasons why Joe chose photography as a profession...or thinking back, perhaps he just thought it was a cool way to make a living at the time.  We now offer drone photography and video production for all clients.

Lori Appel - Taking care of the business is Lori's job here at Viewfinders. She earned a BS degree in Business Administration from CSUN and an MBA from California Lutheran College. Lori has been in the marketing and advertising arena for...well let's just say, quite a while. She at one time had her own PR agency and still helps out small to medium clients with their PR and marketing communications. Being both a client and a vendor has given Lori a unique perspective and allows her to understand both sides of the business. Lori makes sure that things get done here at Viewfinders. She wears many hats including, sales, marketing, production coordination, client liaison, and most recently web designer. In fact, Lori can pretty much handle ALL of a company’s marketing communications needs.
